Subramaniam Swamy alleges bribery against Kejriwal
After being levelled charges from his own party MLA and Minister Kapil Mishra, Chief Minister of Delhi and AAP Party leader Arvind Kejriwal had another accusation and this time it was from the BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy has targeted Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal alleging that there was another Rs 2 crore alleged bribery case. Swamy is understood to have written a letter to Delhi’s LG Anil Baijal requesting him to give sanction to prosecute Kejriwal.
Swamy alleged, “Jung was hand in glove with Kejriwal. All the fight was a facade. He didn’t give sanction to prosecute that I asked for long time back. That’s why I sent a letter of reminder to this LG.” “Kejriwal took the bribe in 4 installments of Rs 50 lakhs each in return Kejriwal wrote off a pending VAT issue as quid pro quo,” he said.
Swamy continued further that “I will move Supreme Court and bring a contempt charge against the LG. In one case that I fought, SC has clearly said that sanctions has to be given in such cases”, if the LG has not given the sanction for the probe and considers that it is fit for CBI to take over the case and investigate.
Kejriwal took a bribe of Rs 2 crore from a private company, Swamy said.
