NEW DELHI: Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, 64-years-old, is admitted at AIIMS and undergoing treatment for kidney-related ailment.
Doctors in the hospital said she is likely to remain in the hospital for a next few days.
Swaraj is admitted at the cardio-neuro centre under the supervision of Balram Airan, Chief of the Cardio Thoracic Centre.
Accotding to doctors of the hospital not authorised to talk to the media said that her condition is stable.
“The external affairs minister has a history of chronic diabetes which has affected her kidney functioning. She is on dialysis,” added the doctor.
She is suffering for diabetes from last 20years.
The doctor added that Swaraj was admitted in hospital on November 7.
