External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj who is very much actiove on Social Media coming to the rescue of the needy has done it yet again. This time she came to the rescue of a Pakistani man who was unable to get a medical visa for the treatment of his infant.
Swaraj showed her helping tendency when the Pakistani national tweeted to her and also tagging Pakistan Foreign Affairs Minister Sartaz Aziz as to why his child has to suffer because of the sour relations between the two nations. She replied to the tweet of the man assuring the Pakistani national that Indian authorities will assist him with the process of securing visa and subsequently the treatment. The person is identified as a civil engineer living in Lahore according to his Twitter bio.
“Why my bud suffers for medical treatment!! Any answers Sir Sartaaj Azeez or Ma’am Sushma??,” tweeted @KenSid2.
To this, the Indian minister replied with a tweet, “No. The child will not suffer. Pls contact Indian High Commission in Pakistan. We will give the medical visa..”
Sushma who herself is ailing from medical condition underwent treatment just a couple of months back and was back to the arena as soon as she got well.
