In a fiery response to the claims of Congress leader Shashi Tharoor helping her in drafting a statement on Kulbhushan Jadhav, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj today rubbished all such reports.
She strongly reacted to such reports and tweeted that, “There is no dearth of talent in my ministry. I have the assistance of very able secretaries.”
Sushma Swaraj also shared those fake reports on twitter.
According to the some media reports, Shashi Tharoor, was helping the government in drafting the ‘Statement of Solidarity’ on the issue of Kulbhushan Jadhav.
Kulbhushan Jadhav is a former Indian Navy officer who has been sentenced to death by a military court in Pakistan on the charges of ‘espionage and sabotage’ activities. This action has triggered outrage in India.
Sushma Swaraj told both Houses of Parliament earlier today that, “There is no evidence of wrongdoing by Jadhav. If anything, he is the victim of a plan that seeks to cast aspersions on India to deflect international attention from Pakistan’s well-known record of sponsoring and supporting terrorism.”
