In a shocking revelation, a suspected chemical attack in Syria has killed 100 people and more than 400 people suffering from respiratory problems in Syrian northwestern province of Idlib on Tuesday.
A Syria medical relief group has claimed that the number of deaths might rise.
The UN has also counted the tragedies on similar lines and said that the village of Khan Sheikhoun to the south of Idlib had initially been hit before strikes on the White Helmets emergency services centre in Khan Sheikhoun and the Al-Rahme hospital. The UN group also said that there have been around 40 strikes since 06:30 in the morning.
It is also believed that United Nations has formally launched an investigation in the aftermath of the gas attack. World leaders including French President Francois Hollande has condemned the attack.
