At least two people were killed and three were injured after a three storey-building collapsed on Sunday in Tamil Nadu’s Trichy district following incessant rains this morninng.
According to reports, a three-storey building collapsed near the Rockfort in Trichy.
According to media reports, Eleven people are reportedly trapped inside the debris.
Police and fire brigade officials were involved in the rescue operations.
In the worst building crash this monsoon, at least 33 people were killed and another 14 injured when a 117-year-old, five-storey residential building collapsed in Bhendi Bazar area of south Mumbai on September 1.
