The online journalism, one of the issues to debate tomorrow on the second day of FICOD 2014

After a first and successful inaugural day in which they have participated, among others, the technologist and journalist for The New York Times,   Nick Bilton, and Minister of Industry, Energy and Tourism, José Manuel Soria; FICOD am back with a second day full of new and interesting plenary sessions, workshops and seminars.

One morning seminars will focus on the important role of journalists in the new digital environment Borja Bergareche, Editorial Director of Innovation Vocento;.Ignacio Escolar, director and founder of , Montserrat Domínguez, Editorial Director of Huffington Post; and Gaston Roitberg, editor of the newspaper La Nación; will analyze, from 1315 hours, how it is transforming the journalistic function before the arrival of new channels and communication tools.

FICOD also   will have tomorrow with the presentation of expert Laird Malamed, COO of Oculus, dealing with the virtual reality world of video games (9.30). The CEO of Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments, Urs Cete, will discuss approaches to the funding of innovative projects, another interesting plenary session to be held at 15.30.

The second day will conclude with the awards to the winners of the First Hackathon for Samsung Gear S, held under FICOD.
