In an unimaginable style, a Bangladesh bowler had given away 92 runs in just 4 deliveries. The score card is given above as to how these many runs were scored which shows 15 extra deliveries that were being bowled and a staggering 65 runs coming out of it.
This happened in a Second Division match in Bangladesh between two teams Lalmatia Club and Axiom Cricketers. After dismissing the Lalmatia Club for 88 in just 14 overs, the Axiom Cricketers team reached the score in just 0.4 overs which would undoubtedly the World Record in reaching the target in record time and deliveries. This match is suppose to be a 50 over match.
Lalmatia’s opening bowler Sujon Mahmud bowled 13 wides and three no-balls in the first over and all of them raced to the boundary, costing his side a further 80 runs. Lalmatia Club Secretary Adnan Rahman said his player bowled the wide deliveries and no-balls deliberately as a mark of protest for poor umpiring.
