AIADMK leader TTV Dhinakaran on Monday pressed for a CBI probe in to the death of late Tamilnadu Chief Minister J.Jayalalitha.
“I want a CBI probe”, said TTV Dhinakaran ” Only when there is a CBI probe , can the ministers who are making contradictory remarks be questioned”, he said.
Tamilnadu Forest Minister Dindigul Srinivasan recently said that nobody met the CM Jayalalitha in Apollo Hospital last year and they lied that she ate idli among others.
However Cooperation Minister Sellur Raju said , ” All the ministers had met her.”
On Sep 25, the Tamilnadu government constituted an inquiry commission headed by justice A Arumughaswamy to look in the circumstances leading up to the death of former CM.
“To divert the people’s attention from the misgovernance , doubts are being raised over Anna’s death” , said TTV Dhinakaran.
“The EPS government would be sent home soon”, he added.
Earlier Mr. TTV had met former governor C Vidyasagar Rao for the removal of Mr. Palanisami from the post of Chief Minister.
