The new CEO of Uber technologies Dara Khosrowshahi will meet the head of the London transport system next Tuesday to win back its licence to operate in the UK capital.
Regular transport for London deemed uber unfit to run a taxi service on September 22nd and decided not to renew its licence to operate citing the firms approach to reporting serious criminal offences and background checks on drivers.
Khosrowshahi who joined just few days back will meet transport commissioner Mike brown.
“Our new CEO is looking forward to meet with the commissioner next week,” said uber spokesman.
“As he said on Monday, we want to work with London to make things right.”
However sources said that Khosrowshahi’s visit was a good sign since TFL had concerns about Uber’s cooperation with its process.
