Today voting for the fifth phase of Uttar Pradesh assembly elections has begun for 51 assembly seats. Over 18.4 million voters will choose their representatives among 608 candidates competing in this election.
As per the source over 38% voting is recorded till 1pm. Voting in Alapur has been postponed to 9 March because of demise of the Samajwadi Party’s candidate Chandrashekhar Kanaujia.
