After handling various controversies in its six-month tenure, the most recent being the deaths of children at Gorakhpur hospital, the UP government has presented its six-months report card. The report card lists out the various achievements of the Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh. It may be recalled that the BJP had come to power in UP with a landslide victory in the state assembly elections. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed the media at the Lok Bhawan in Lucknow and presented the government’s six-month report card. One of the important things he pointed out was that there was not a single riot incident in the state since his government came to power. Yogi said that his government has been successful at controlling the ‘jungle raj’ which was created by the earlier government.
Yogi also said that the improved law and order situation in the state is helping improve investor confidence in the state. He said that this will boost investments in the state, creating more jobs for people. Yogi said that improving law and order was one of the top priorities and his government has been successful in this area. He said that the government has already created a detailed roadmap of the state’s development and would be executing it in the coming days. He said that he has given police the freedom to act without any pressure, which has helped reduce the crime rate. He said that in the last six months, police action has been taken against various criminals and many of them have also been gunned down.
