UP’s former Samajwadi government paid Rs 21.15 lakh to protect Yadav Singh

Here in Lucknow, RTI activist Nutan Thakur had filed a PIL in Allahabad court in Yadav Singh case. It is revealed that Samajwadi Party government had funded some Rs 21.15 lakh to dissimilar senior lawyers of the Supreme Court to evade CBI enquiry against stained Noida Chief Engineer Yadav Singh.

Yadav Singh is suspected of making crores of rupees over unlawful activities.

According to the RTI information dated May 4, 2017, given by Surendra Pal Singh, Special Secretary at Nyay Anubhag, it says that four senior lawyers were involved by the State government in Yadav Singh case.

In Rs.21.15 lakh followings were given different amount

Kapil Sibbal was paid Rs 8.80 lakh

Dinesh Dwivedi was paid Rs 3.30 lakh.

Harish Salve was paid Rs 5.00 lakh

Rakesh Dwivedi was paid Rs 4.05 lakh

Nutan Thakur said it was really disturbing that the UP government gave away such enormous money to except a stained person

At present Yadav Singh is in jail and is being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation and the Enforcement Directorate.
