The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath may visit Ayodhya today on the backdrop of the Supreme Court (SC) decision to ask involved parties to build consensus on the contentious issue of the construction of Ram Temple.
Yogi Adityanath has been very vocal about the Ram Mandir issue and has said that aggrieved parties must sit together to resolve the matter.
He also claimed that the solid observation by the Supreme Court must be welcomed by all. The BJP has also welcomed the suggestion, however Congress has been very cautious in responding on the issue.
Ayodhya-based Digambar Akhada head, Mahant Suresh Das had claimed to build the temple in the presence of Yogi Adityanath and said the temple would be built on ‘Ram Janmabhoomi’ itself even as The Babri Masjid Action Committee (BMAC) had claimed an out-of-court settlement of the Ayodhya dispute was not possible with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Adityanath at the helm of affairs.
