Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said that he is waiting for the Election Commission of India (ECI) to announce election schedule for the state as he is waiting to see how people of the state ignore negative forces during a public dedication ceremony at Ram Manohar Laohia Institute of Medical Sciences in Lucknow.
“People and several groups are trying to obstruct the development campaign started by our party,” said Yadav.
Targeting the BJP he said that there are particular group who are changing their strategy to pull us back from the path of development.
“These groups to divert mind of people started with love jihad and now demonetization,” said Uttar Pradesh chief minister.
Attacking BJP-led central government Yadav said, “The demonetization move has retarded our economic growth. Farmers and labour class have suffered severely due to demonetization.”
He also mention that his party Samajwadi party thinks for all sections of the society and urged denizens of the state to give them another chance.
Taking a dig at Bahujan Samaj Party, Yadav said, “Elephants installed by my predecessor have not grown even by an inch in the past nine years.”
