Vibha to Organize 4th Edition National Conclave for Social Entrepreneurs and CSR Community in Association with CII

  • PRAGATI-2015, a three-day event to be held in Pune from Oct 1-3th, will bring together leading and upcoming Indian & International social entrepreneurs, NGOs, corporate and government representatives
  • CII to lead a business delegation at the event 

New Delhi, 22nd September 2015: Vibha, a leading global, India-centric social venture catalyst, will be hosting the 4th edition of its bi-annual conference for Social Entrepreneurs and Indian CSR Community – PRAGATI 2015- in Pune next month. The three-day national conference will be held at Marriot Hotel and YMCA in Pune from 1st October to 3rd October.

PRAGATI-2015 has seen Vibha joining hands with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) as the event partner. CII is leading the business delegation at the conference so far which will also see the Indian CSR community including social entrepreneurs, NGOs and government representatives share the stage on one of the biggest and most successful CSR platforms in India. PRAGATI 2015 brings all its partner projects to one platform with a mission to ‘Connect, Share and Leverage’.

Started in 2009 by Vibha and continued in 2011 and 2013, PRAGATI has played an important role in developing better understanding among social entrepreneurs and social sector organizations for developing grass root ideas into scalable community solutions. It also provides an environment among all the social sector projects to learn from each other.

Vibha, a volunteer run, non-profit, non-religious, non-political organization, has been working in India and the US for the past 24 years by promoting causes and organizations in the field of health, education and economic opportunities for children in need.

The three-day conference will provide a common platform to all the stakeholders and is structured and designed to share expert opinions and experiences of prominent leading personalities with diverse experiences in the field. The discussions and sessions at the event will address issues and topics related to impact assessment of social sector projects, importance of public private partnership, inclusive education and improving the quality of education in government schools among others.
