Indian Indie film, “WHO DIES” directed by Shahnawaz Baqal alias Rufy Khan has been shortlisted at 10th Annual New York Peace Film Festival on Saturday, March 18, 2017. It is the only short film selected from India for NEW YORK PEACE INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL.
The film is to be shown in 19 states and in 82 venues across INDIA. “WHO DIES” captures story of two different people who are badly injured. A story set in Kashmir where two badly injured persons, one of whom is an army man and other is a Kashmiri militant met in a same Kashmiri house. The story revolves around, how both deal with the situation.
The film has received an overwhelming response from the crowd. Starring in a lead role, actor Rufy Khan, Sahil Multy Khan & Ashraf Nagoo. The film is directed by actor & director Shahnawaz Baqal alias Rufy Khan, Produced by Rufy Khan Productions. The Music composed by Avik Chatterjee and play backed by melodious singer Debarati Bhattacharjee.
The movie has bagged awards in various categories. “WHO DIES” has already bagged best Director’s Award in Delhi international film festival. “WHO DIES”, was selected and won Best Editing and Best Film in 10th FILM SAAZ INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL. “WHO DIES” also won Best Pic award in prestigious Kala Ghoda film festival 2017. “WHO DIES” was awarded for best Film on current issue in India’s most prestigious Film Festival which in JAIPUR INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL, 2017. The film was also officially selected in DON BOSCO YOUTH FILM FESTIVAL 2017 to compete among 10 top films of India. “WHO DIES”, directed by actor Shahnawaz Baqal alias Rufy Khan of movie Nautanki Saala fame.
