In Bengaluru, a woman was detained for purportedly double-dealing Amazon India and she cheated in the tune of Rs 70 lakh by making many online acquisitions, refunding inferior or cheap doubles and then vending the original items received by Amazon in another online portal.
Deepanwita Ghosh is recognized accused and she is an engineering graduate. Her native place is West Bengal. She was working with a professional services company and she was fond of buying online. She stays in Horamavu, Agara, with her husband.
Denu T Nair, Amazon representative lodged FIR against her and mentioned that she used false names and made some 104 online acquisitions of items. She purchased smart cell phones and other electronic items. Then she used to raise the return requests within a day and will ask for refunds from Amazon.
Police told that she had been double-dealing Amazon for almost a year. She could manage it because during that time there was no rule in place of opening and examining the artifact at the time of retaking it.The time Amazon’s vendor service in Bengaluru patterned many refunded products were not the prototypes then inside investigation was started which lightened on Deepanwita Ghosh.
