Akhilesh Yadav may not be the next Uttar Pradesh chief minister even though Samajwadi Party wins with clear mandate in the forthcoming 2017 UP Assembly Elections hinted party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav.
Mulayam Singh Yadav during a press conference organised to inform about the 25-year celebrations and program of the party said, “So far the party is not projecting Akhilesh Yadav as the CM candidate of the party. The decision for the next CM will be unanimously taken by the elected leaders and parliamentary board.”
He also told the reporters that opposition are trying to spread rumors regarding rift within the party.
He further announced that the party will be celebrating silver jubilee from November 5. During the celebration occassion senior party leaders and party workers of all level will celebrate the occasion together.
Talking over the uniform civil code (UCC) and triple talaq, he said, “Every community is entitled to follow its religious scripture and there should be no controversy over the issue and there should be no illogical debate over it.”
