Celio’s Spring Summer 2015 collection features an entire micro-collection featuring one of the trendiest fabrics of the season – linen. And with its exhaustive linen collection, in a myriad of unforgettable colours, Celio aims to add a free-flowing, breezy, fresh and summery dimension to men’s fashion.
The linen collection features a series of shirts, both full-sleeved and half-sleeved with a strong emphasis on small details – a half-sleeve shirt with a contrasting inner lining on the sleeve, a slit-pocket detail, a full-sleeve shirt with a contrasting piping on the cuff and lots of offsetting colours on the button linings and inner collars.
At the core of the collection are shirts in a variety of solid colours, in both a regular collar and a Mandarin collar. Navy, maroon, sky blue and white make these shirts easy-to-wear and easy-to-pair.
The 100% premium linen shirts have an undeniable nautical appeal – the anchor micro print shirts, the fine marine-style pinstripes and the thick sailor-style stripies – which bring to mind the Mediterranean style.
And finally, it’s not only about the solids in linen this season. The collection has a strong presence of checks – classic ginghams, Madras or plaid-inspired checks – in a variety of standout colours.
To complement the shirts, the collection is enhanced with linen trousers and Bermuda shorts.
Linen being a key player in men’s fashion this season, Celio’s linen offering will not reflect the timeless appeal of this fabric but also its casual elegance. Moreover, the colours, styles and cuts, all complemented with a strong focus on minute details, make this collection stand out.
