Chinese warships enter Pakistan for training mission

Newspatrolling: As part of a training mission, a Chinese navy fleet comprising of three warships — the Chang Chun, Jing Zhou and Chao Hu, has entered Pakistan. This move yet again shows the strengthening relations between China and Pakistan. Indian security experts perceive this as a threat, and have always been advocating for advanced weapon systems and improved naval and air superiority. The Chinese fleet has entered Pakistan under the command of Rear Admiral Shen Hao, Deputy Commander East Sea Fleet. The fleet was given a warm welcome when it entered Pakistan. The welcome ceremony was attended by Chinese Embassy Staff and senior officials from the Pakistan Navy.

Rear Admiral Shen said that this specific mission will further boost confidence among the two countries. He said that it will also help to maintain peace in the region. After the arrival of the Chinese navy fleet, Chief of the Pakistan Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah also visited the Chinese Ships and met Shen. Zakaullah marveled at the expertise of Chinese navy and appreciated the skills of crew members and the fleet’s operational excellence. He also said that Pakistan-China friendship was highly valued and both countries have benefited by strengthening of ties between the two countries.
