BEST-selling crime writer Christopher Brookmyre returns to The Avenue Shopping Centre in Newton Mearns to discuss Dead Girl Walking, his latest book, in an event organised by Waterstone’s at Primavera on Monday 26th January from 7pm till 8.30pm.
One of the most darkly witty crime writers with a series of award winning novels to his name, in Dead Girl Walking famous, beautiful and talented, Heike Gunn has the world at her feet. Then, one day, she simply vanishes.
Jack Parlabane has lost everything: his journalism career, his marriage, his self-respect. A call for help from an old friend offers a chance for redemption – but only if he can find out what happened to Heike.
Michelle McCabe, Centre Manager at The Avenue, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Christopher Brookmyre, one of Scotland’s most successful writers, back to The Avenue. He proved to be an extremely popular attraction last year and am sure his many fans will once again turn out in numbers to hear him talk about Dead Girl Walking.”
