AUGUST 2021: The Covid-19 pandemic had a devastating impact on the academic calendar. The exams like NEET, JEE etc. were postponed. But now, as things are getting back on track, the exams are being scheduled. The NEET PG is a highly competitive exam that is held for admission to various MD (Doctor of Medicine)/MS (Master in Surgery) and PG Diploma courses across the country.
The NEET PG 2021 is scheduled to be held on September 11, 2021.
The group of doctors have filed a PIL in supreme court in order to seek changes in exam centres. They opted the centre 5 months before when they were on duties or hometown. But as things are getting back to their path they have moved to another place. Hence, they requested NBE, GoI and other concerned authorities for centre change. Then they took the concern to the SC. The dairy number is 19544/2021 and case no. is W.P.(C) Number is 000936-/ 2021.The hearing on the same has to be done on 31st August,2021. But, only 11 days will be left for the exam after hearing.
Commenting on the same, Mr. Gaurav Tyagi, Founder-Career Xpert said, “I request GoI, NBE and other concerned authorities to allow centre change for doctors. They are seriously facing issues these days. This concern must be taken into account as there are just a few days left for the exam.”
