India gets closer to a win against Australia; needs just 87 runs

With impressive performance by its bowlers, team India has come closer to a victory against Australia in the fourth and final test match in the series being played at HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala. On the third day of the test match, Indian bowlers displayed some remarkable bowling skills, as Umesh Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin claimed three wickets each. As a result, the Australian side was bowled out for just 137 runs in their second innings. Team India is now chasing a target of 106 runs, and they were already 19 for no loss at the end of the third day’s play.

Team India needs just 87 runs to score a victory over Australia. Indian opening batsmen, Lokesh Rahul and Murali Vijay are looking solid and they are expected to continue with their infallible approach tomorrow as well. It may be recalled that India had scored 332 in their first innings whereas Australia had scored 300 and 137 in their first and second innings respectively. If India wins the fourth and final test, it will claim the test series by 2-1. Both the teams have won one match each and the third match was a draw.
