Indian prime minister to launch ‘zara yaad karo kurbani’

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday will launch “70 Saal Azadi —Zara Yaad Karo Kurbani” (70years of Independence — let’s remember the Sacrifice).

The campaign is being launched to create feeling of nationality then individuality.

“We are launching the campaign to develop the feeling in every person that nation is first and indivisual is secondary,” said M. Venkaiah Naidu, Union Information and Broadcasting Minister.

“The program will provide an opportunity to the people to recall the supreme sacrifices made by freedom fighters during freedom struggle,” Naidu said.

The Union Information and Broadcasting Minister also added that a week-long “Tiranga-Yatra” will also be launched across the country.

According to plans of the government Members of the parliament and state legislatures have been asked to take part in the Yatra carrying the Tricolor and visit their constituencies.

On the other Kashmir separatist are planning launch anti-India campaign and demand freedom across the valley. According to their plans the groups are planning to take out ‘protest-marches’ across the  valley.

Separatist groups have urged people to defy the curfew and be on streets to participate in the protest rallies.
