Indian research paper presented (ATTD) in Paris

New Delhi, Feb. 22 : Two real research papers from Kerala were presented at the 8th International Conference on Advanced Technologies and Treatments for Diabetes (ATTD) in Paris.
The own research was carried out at Jothydev’s Diabetes Research Centre in Trivandrum.
The two studies were linked to Diabetes Tele Management System (DTMS); and the first is using insulin pump therapy to treat sexual dysfunction in men and the next one using home blood pressure monitoring to prevent the progression of diabetic kidney disease.
Nephropathy or kidney disease stands as a major and common complication in diabetes. With that view of kidney disease, the cost of treating diabetes will reduce. Same time, patients require regular dialysis and even renal transplantation.
From this research, patients would monitor their blood sugars and blood pressures at their own houses and via the Diabetes Tele Management System, instructions were carried out.
This research has proven the prevention of progression of kidney disease in those meticulously making use of Diabetes Tele Management System along with home blood pressure monitoring.
