JEE ADVANCED 2015 signals to bring out quality engineers out of IITs’

The JEE Advanced exam (Paper 2 ) threw a curve ball today with difficult mathematics paper. The Physics paper was moderately difficult and Chemistry was easy. This year, there were more negative mark questions in Physics,” said, Dr. Sridhar G, MD, Ace Creative Learning Pvt. Ltd.


The Physics paper was moderately difficult. There were 9 easy level questions, 6 medium level and 5 difficult level paper. Overall the paper was a good.


The Chemistry paper was easy. There were 14 easy level questions, 5 medium levels and 1 difficult level question. The paper was same as compared to last year, but the question paper was good and tricky.


The Maths paper was significantly difficult compared to last. A sign of setting high standard in advanced papers. There were 7 easy levels, 7 medium level and 6 difficult level questions. There were no out of syllabus questions.

“The paper 2 was difficult, as mathematics was too tricky and the levels of questions were too high.  Study materials and reference books played a role little bit. But then, we had to be extra thorough for this paper,” said, Rahul Jana, Student of Deeksha Network
