A book to drive people out of Corona’s crisis
New Delhi: The world is struggling for survival during this pandemic, resilient behaviour and leadership is needed to help moving people pass through it with safety, Health and Economics. Passion to drive this resilience requires a clear understanding to help and guide the right behaviour. One Author realizes this pain and takes the oath to catalyze this human trait through education helping managers and young leaders build confidence to fight back. Ritesh Wig, the author of his new book “Leadership in Unrepresented Times” , had tried developing this new mind-set after having done detailed research on market and human conditions.
Mr. Manoj Kohli, a seasoned leader and inspiration to millennials, came forward to launch this book publicly online to trigger social benefits.
An intellectual online webinar was organized for the launch of this book. The presence of many famous and well known writers and corporate leaders flavored this event with grace.
Mr. Manoj Kohli, Country Head, soft bank India said: India is on the cusp of exponential growth due to many policy reforms ( Atam Nirbhar Bharat), by the Government recently for COVID -19; India is a land of opportunity for global investors post COVID-19 scenario. India is on a resilience path with more conviction and the emergence of young leadership across the industry. My advice is to follow the Government advisory to curb the COVID-19 virus attack. Secondly, rebuild your skills wherever you feel there is a gap, as post COVID-19 changes the whole game of operations, basically more digitized and automated. Thirdly, focus on family health and heal the sentiments of parents, spouse, and children. Fourthly, develop your leadership skills and display a hunger for filling gaps by reading management books and applying the principles you read. This book “Leadership in Unprecedented Times” talks about inclusive leadership and the post COVID-19 recovery path.
The book “Leadership in Unprecedented Times” highlights the impact of the crisis, helps find the ray of hope by business leaders to win back initial confidence, and outlines the recovery timelines.
The book also presents a strategy to define a robust framework, evaluate new business scenarios, redefine business shield for any crisis ahead and lastly, it defines “The New Normal” for the growth of Business.
The book is an attempt at laying stress on the role of business leaders as vital in framing a vision tunnel with the help of government support to go the extra mile and fulfill their promise to BOD’s, customers, and other stakeholders while recovering from this humanitarian challenge with bounded optimism.
