McDonald’s apologizes for tweet slamming President Trump; Wal-Mart recalls 10 tons of frozen pizza

McDonald’s has apologized for the tweet that was posted using the company’s handle, and which had slammed President Donald Trump. The tweet that was posted using the company’s handle read, “@realdonaldtrump You are actually a disgusting excuse of a President and we would love to have @BarackObama back, also you have tiny hands.” It was only later that McDonald’s realized that its Twitter account has been compromised. This has been substantiated by Twitter also. McDonald’s has deleted the tweet and expressed its regrets on the incident.

Meanwhile, in another development in the United States, Wal-Mart has recalled around 10 tons of frozen pizza over concerns that these may be contaminated with the listeria bacterium. The bacterium can cause serious illness and it has the potential to infect people with weakened immune system, pregnant women and babies, and people older than 65 years of age. Every year, there are around 260 deaths due to Listeriosis. The recall has been announced by RBR Meat Company, which manufactures the pizzas. The recall will be applicable in 11 States.
