Police launches manhunt to nab Bihar teenager’s shooter

The Bihar Police have launched a massive manhunt to arrest Rocky, the son of JD(U) MLC Manorama Devi, who allegedly shot 19-year-old Aditya Sachdeva leading to death on Saturday night after the latter overtook his car. Zonal IG Naiyyar Hasnain Khan told the media that several teams have been formed to arrest Rocky.

“The investigating officer will move to court to secure property attachment order of the absconder,” said Khan.

A senior official not authorized to talk to the media said that multiple teams are working to zero-in Rocky.

Bihar police have engaged forensic experts to examine the Range Rover, Rocky was driving. Soil samples of the incident site were collected.

According to one of the forensic experts the engine of the vehicle was examined to find out if the vehicle was stationed in the MLA’s residence for last three days or not. “The soil in the incident site was examined to collect the tyre marks,” added the forensic expert.

Some police officials believe that Rocky is hiding in one of the remote villages in Barachatti or Gurua or in country’s capital.

Barachatti and Garua are being considered as hideout by the investigating team as Barachatti a Maoist dominated area is home-town of Rocky’s father.

While, some officials believe that Rocky could have travelled to Delhi by one of the Rajdhani Express trains that leave Gaya before midnight.

Rocky was only identified four hours after the incident as Sachdeva’s killer.

Aditya’s killing took place around 8pm and Rocky was identified as the killer.
