With the recent form, Indian women’s team just have run extra mile and implement their out-of-the-box strategies on field to perform against the higher-ranked teams.
Speaking on the upcoming Tour, Captain Ritu Rani said, “Presently we are working on our game-plans and various strategies to counter the opponents. We are watching videos on them, how have they performed in the recent past, plus our videos where we have played against them and where we lacked while playing against them. Basis the videos we have started working on our play and accordingly our team coordination. Our major focus is our penalty corner coordination and variations that we are working on presently. We are confident of the series ahead and we will take it as an opportunity for us ahead of the FINTRO Hockey World League Semi-Final in June this year”.
