images-1Two persons have been nabbed by the Anti-Terrorist Squad in Gujrat for allegedly spying strategic security points and passing information to Pakisatan.

A senior police official on condition of anonymity confirmed the development and said the raiding team of ATS have recovered several sensitive documents from the arrested.

The two arrested are suspected to be working for Pakistani intelligence agency ISI. Both arrested are residents of Khavda village of Kutch district.

The arrest of two spies from the area is being taken seriously as the location is adjacent to the international border.

The security personnel denied to share any other information as the case is being handled by the ATS and due to internal security concerns.

Another police official in condition of anonymity said that the ATS team has recovered several sensitive matters including maps, location of security forces posted in the area and several other objects from the two.

According to the police officer the raiding team suspects the two have passed army movements to Pakistan and terrorist organisations operating from the neighbouring country.
