A ‘Thirst’ that can be quenched with little efforts.
Being The Real Human Foundation has been working for the betterment of the environment and peaceful co-existence of humans, animals and birds for the last 2 years now. “In the initial days of summer, we saw many birds and animals die of thirst. This happened due to immense heat and no water to drink in cities and towns. We decided to work towards finding a solution. We decided to place cement pots all over the local areas where we are operational. We requested the local residents and shopkeepers in the area to fill this with 1-2 litres of fresh water daily. This helped quench the thirst of the birds and animals. The number of deaths due to summers reduced drastically. In monsoons, we explained to the locals to plant seeds and saplings in the same pots so no stagnation of water happens. Moreover animals don’t need water support in monsoons. Post monsoons these saplings can be planted in the nearby ground as a healthy plant. This helps grow the greenery of the environment in Towns and helps reducing pollution.” Says Utpal Khot- Founder & President, Being the Real human Foundation.
