Under the “Mission Shakti-Phase 3.0” campaign run by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, the Women and Child Security Organization (1090) launched the online public awareness program related to the safety of women.
The following online hashtags/campaigns today under the “Our Suraksha” program, conducted earlier, through this online outreach program-
“#humforher” And “#farkpadtahai” have been launched.
Today this program was launched by Women Power Line-1090 in collaboration with UNICEF, UN Women and Facebook, which will continue till December 2021 under “Mission Shakti-Phase 3.0”.
In this program under ‘Mission Shakti-Phase 1.0’, 35 eminent personalities from different walks of life, print and electronic media, teachers, students, women from various schools and colleges participating in the ‘Vacharik Samagam’ program organized at this headquarters. More than 100 people, including counselors/psychologists and officers/employees of Women and Child Protection Organization/1090, participated in the online family counseling service operated by Powerline-1090.
The program was inaugurated by the students from different educational institutions. Ms. Ruth Lascanolieno, Chief Field Officer UNICEF, Ms. Susan Janeferguson, Representative – UN Women India Country Office and Mr. Satya Yadav – Head Trust and Safety Facebook India participated in the program and talked about the work being done by their organization in the campaign.
On this occasion, Mrs. Neera Rawat, Additional Director General of Police, Women and Child Security Organization said that in today’s modern era, a large section of the society is connected with social media and through this program more and more people can be made aware of various aspects of women’s safety. At the end of the program 5 counselors, who made a special contribution to the ‘Online Family Counseling’ service of 1090, were felicitated by Mrs. Neera Rawat, Additional Director General of Police, Women and Child Security Organization/1090 and Mr. Ruth Lascanolieno, Chief Field Officer UNICEF with a citation.
